PROSTA-CHECK® is a specific, rapid immunodiagnostic test for the detection of prostate antigen (PSA). The level of PSA in the blood allows you to estimate the physiological state of the prostate. A value higher than normal ( 4 ng/mL) indicates prostatic hypertrophy.

The PSA test should be performed at least once a year in men over 50 years of age or in men with a family history of prostate problems. In the case of prostate problems, early screening allows treatment to be started and the possibility of improvement increased. The test is also performed as part of prostate/prostate cancer prevention.
