M-ALBU-CHECK-1® is a specific, rapid immunodiagnostic test for qualitative confirmation of the presence of albumin in urine. The test allows to determine the pathological concentration of albumin in urine(above 10mg/L).

Under physiological conditions, albumin is absent or detected in the urine in trace amounts. High levels of albumin in the urine correlate with filtering disorders and suggest kidney dysfunction. Abnormal glucose or triglycerides (fats), diabetes and hypertension are factors that promote the excretion of albumin in the urine.
