FERRI-CHECK® is a specific, rapid immunodiagnostic test to assess the level of ferritin in the blood. Ferritin is a protein that stores iron in cells. The test can be used to screen for potential iron deficiency (anemia).

The FERRI-CHECK® test is performed for symptoms such as pallor, fatigue, headaches, rapid heartbeat, or shortness of breath during exercise mainly during pregnancy or in case of heavy menstruation. Anemia (anemia) caused by iron deficiency is common in children and women of all ages (mainly menstruating women, at least 20% of them suffer from iron deficiency).
